Letter from Brenda to Pencils for Africa

Dear Friend,

My name is Brenda. I am in Form four studying at Loreto Limuru High School.

My hobbies are listening to music, watching movies, reading novels, magazines and newspapers. I also love dancing, cooking and travelling.

I love seeing in the mass media that a woman is vying for a president and more so, becoming a president. The research conducted by several organizations proved that women in leadership positions tend to develop their society effectively.

For example, Liberian president, Hon. Ellen Sirleaf Johnson has ruled for a long time.

Since she became president, the country has developed economically and there is peace which was not there before her ruling.

Women leaders ensure that they have developed the areas they rule as they tend to understand more about development.

I think it will be worthy for us to elect women presidents so as to make this planet an economically developed planet.
